The apartment is situated halfway between the bustling tourist area of Mojácar Playa, and the fishing town of Garrucha where you can watch the day's catch being brought in and auctioned to the local restaurants.

It's situated in a small private community only two minutes walk from the beach, and just outside of the busiest tourist areas.

Within walking distance you can find plenty of excellent restaurants, shops and bars, and there is a scuba diving school at the end of the road.

There are some beautiful villages to explore, and the mountain drives are spectaular

There are four excellent golf courses in the area, all within a 15/20 minute drive.

Marina Golf (walking distance) is an 18 hole course adjacent to the sea with three lakes.

Desert Springs also an 18 hole course designed by Peter McEvoy, which boasts the famous Crocodile Club bar and restaurant.

Cortijo Grande is a 9 hole course surrounded by orange and lemon groves where the resident PGA professional Gareth Edwards is available for tuition.

And the Valle del Este 18 hole course with water features and elevated tees (and excellent restaurant).
